Fred Maglione brings 40+ years of recognized ticketing and event expertise to Softjourn’s Media & Entertainment projects. Maglione has served as a senior executive for major league sports teams and industry suppliers. He is an expert in all areas of primary and secondary ticketing, box office operations, audience engagement, and customer loyalty.
He specializes in competition analysis, product positioning, international market expansion, new product launch, fundraising, and M&A guidance. He collaborates with Softjourn on entertainment research and development, as well as on ticketing projects of all sizes.
His extensive ticketing history includes serving as the Executive Chairman of TopTix; as President and CEO of New Era Tickets; and as President and Partner of Globe Information Systems. He is the author of the Select-a-Seat ticketing system, which has seen over 300 installations worldwide. He and his partners successfully sold a Florida franchise to Ticketmaster in 1985.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Food Marketing from Saint Joseph’s University.
