About the project: 

Our client is a SaaS company providing a platform that helps organizations manage employee expenses and spending. The solution includes corporate cards, prepaid cards, virtual vendor cards, and integrations with financial software. The platform serves clients across various sectors, including non-profit organizations, education, the gig economy, healthcare and human services, and financial services.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience with developing/managing products/digital experiences

Prior experience with small business tools, SaaS products, payments or financial services is a plus

Excellent communication and collaboration skills (visual and written)

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps

Experience with A/B and multivariate testing tools

Experience in conducting user research and usability testing

Experience with AI (Claude is used in the project)

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

 

 

Nice to have:

  • Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce or HubSpot)
  • Familiarity with CDP systems (Segment or Rudderstack)
  • Portfolio demonstrating a proven track record of shipping user-centric design work
  • Expertise in design and prototyping tools: Figma
  • Proficiency using analytics tools: PostHog, Power BI
  • Prior experience with small business tools, SaaS products, payments or financial services is a plus

 

Responsibilities:

  • Bring together insights from every area to design and build the customer experience
  • Ship high-quality, new products and features on a weekly basis
  • Define and articulate user-facing features, ensuring engaging and intuitive interactions
  • Collaborate with business partners to scope, design and develop new features for growth, P&L and customer goals
  • Rapidly synthesize complex issues into product requirements and easy-to-use UX
  • Develop a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors
  • Work closely with UI designers and developers for consistent, visually appealing, functionally effective products
  • Conduct user research: usability testing, A/B testing, other validation methods
  • Create usability test plans, conduct qualitative interviews, synthesize and report findings
  • Write comprehensive user stories with acceptance criteria; participate in UAT and functionality testing
  • Track and report on engagement metrics; make data-driven decisions
  • Validate design decisions and understand the impact on UX and conversion rates
  • Manage product feature lifecycle from conception through launch
  • Analyze user data and translate insights into actionable improvements
  • Provide thought leadership in design thinking and user-centered design
  • Keep up-to-date with trends in technology, design, and the competitive landscape
  • Define and track KPIs and key results around user experience
  • Be an end-user expert on the current client’s platform
