The Need
Razorcoast is an internet marketing and social media company based in Dublin, Ireland, helping companies get top results via social media. There are so many social media tools out there but how to use them to expand a particular business can be a daunting task for most companies. RazorCoast wants to demystify the process and make it easier for owners to do this on their own.
The Solution
The solution begins with creating a Facebook platform to help businesses with their social media efforts by expanding Facebook's social media possibilities. To begin with Softjourn started developing a part of the future platform – a Facebook competition application.
One of the main requirements our client had was that the application should be fully customizable so that each instance is easy to modify in terms of both functionality and design.
Softjourn designed the look and feel of the two admin interfaces and a user interface, designed the architecture of the system in a way so that it met RazorCoast’s customization requirements. With design complete, actual development took about 4 weeks, and soon after that, the competition app went live.
