Marking 26 Years of Softjourn
Even with our remote-first philosophy, we love any chance to get together. And there's no better excuse than 26 years of Softjourn. This year, our Ukrainian and Polish offices marked the anniversary with two very different, but equally memorable celebrations.

The festivities in Ivano-Frankivsk featured a sun-drenched Italian summer theme, where high spirits, cheerful toasts, and smooth rhythms of jazz set the perfect ambiance for the day. There was Prosecco popping, games that had everyone cracking up, and a giant green tiramisu that stole the show.
Our people not only brought good energy and rocked the dress code, but also helped make this celebration even more meaningful by supporting our charity drive for the Ukrainian Bone Marrow Donor Registry (UBMDR).

Meanwhile, our Wrocław team travelled back to the ’50s and ’60s with a Rock’n’Roll-themed celebration. The atmosphere was electric, filled with leather jackets, retro poodle skirts, and timeless vinyl hits, all complemented by classic burgers and vintage cocktails.

But beyond the games and good food, it was a chance to simply spend time together catching up, laughing, and enjoying each other’s company outside our usual work routines.
Being remote-first gives us flexibility in how we work. Yet moments like these remind us why it’s equally important to make space for connection, collaboration, and fun.
For 26 years, Softjourn has been growing, adapting, and solving complex software challenges for clients around the world. But the company’s story has always been shaped by people: those who dared to start the company, those who trusted us with our first projects, those who joined us along the way, and those who continue to bring their unique perspectives, expertise, ideas, and energy to every project we tackle.
Here’s to 26 years of Softjourn, and to everyone who has helped shape the company along the way.
