The company wanted a UI that would engage its clients’ end users and allow them to register for events and buy tickets easily. The goal was to encourage end users to share their positive purchase experience and get more people to use the platform.

The Challenge

Eventgroove (previously known as Ticket River) is a platform that allows users to create events, design tickets, and manage ticket sales. Due to Sofjourn's ticketing domain experience, the client specifically came to us with the request to make their platform more engaging and easy to use.

The company wanted a UI that would allow its clients and end users to register for events and buy tickets in a few simple steps. The goal was to encourage end users to share their positive purchase experience, recommend the platform, and ultimately use more products. Our client expected that a high-quality mobile application would allow it to sell more business to current customers, acquire new customers, and increase market share.

Softjourn's development team worked closely with Eventgroove to create a list of requirements to start working on the project. We had a holistic approach to the project to lead our client through the process. 

The Solution

The client came to us with a rough product idea and a brief outline of the desired updates to their current web application. Before kicking off the development, our team needed to have all the information ready and a clear vision of how the client's platform should function. We had two designers working on this project that was focused on understanding clients' needs in order to produce design solutions that their users would enjoy. "Everyone was very easy to work with! We're very happy with the result", said the client. 

First, we focused on verifying the basic assumptions and identifying possible loopholes to prepare the ground for crafting the final solution. After the initial kickoff meetings, our team asked all the right questions about the business logic of the application and customer expectations when it comes to new design. We wanted to gather all the necessary information and capture the product logic scope to develop and present the development roadmap.

The development process was very efficient as it required effective management to ensure everyone was on the same page.
