For us, meaningful work reaches far beyond our daily tasks. It's about the people we empower, the families we support, and the lasting positive impact we create together. Around the International Day for the Protection of Children, we rolled out two heartfelt initiatives designed to do just that.
After all, before the world of meetings and deadlines, we were all just kids with wild imaginations and cherished memories. This Children's Day, we invited our teammates to share those treasured moments – from beloved toys and backyard adventures to games that made time fly. Their stories may come from different corners of the world, but the joy is universal.
Children are naturally curious. And sooner or later, most adults hear questions like: "Where do you work?", "What do you do all day?", or "Why don't you go to school like I do?". To help answer those big, little questions, we created a special illustrated eBook. It's a fun and friendly guide that tells the story of where Mommy and Daddy work, what they do, and why it matters.
We've made sure it is available in 4 languages, so all families across our global offices can enjoy it together, spending quality time and prompting fun, meaningful discussions with their children.

Our colleague Aleksandra shared how her daughters reacted:
We even received some lovely drawings from one of the tasks in the book. Gabriela (10) drew her mom’s big desk, laptop, and clock—capturing her role in organizing events and preparing documents—while Martynka (8), already curious about programming, carefully mapped out her mom’s workspace, even adding icons for benefits like medical insurance and a sports card.

As we cherished these moments with our children and looked back fondly on our childhoods, our thoughts also turned to those fighting for the chance to create their memories.
Softjourn has also made a donation to support Maksym Tsutsman, a young boy bravely battling spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) — a rare and serious condition requiring urgent treatment.
His life-saving care comes with a staggering cost of $3 million. While thousands of kind-hearted supporters have already raised over half of the necessary funds, time is of the essence, and every moment counts in Maksym's journey.
Our donation is a testament to our belief that collective action can bring about profound change. We stand with Maksym and his family, contributing to the global effort to secure his future.
