When I joined Softjourn, I started as a Middle Software Engineer, focusing primarily on implementation tasks and improving my technical expertise. Over time, I took on more responsibility, from designing key solutions to mentoring team members. This gradual growth in ownership and leadership paved the way for my promotion to Senior Software Engineer.
What was the promotion process like for you?

A few key moments stood out, such as the design and implementation of critical system features that streamlined business operations. One example was my role in designing, developing, and launching a new web application from scratch that simplified the business onboarding for clients. Additionally, I think my involvement in mentoring new developers and fostering team collaboration was pivotal in showcasing my readiness for a senior role.
What advice would you give to someone aiming for professional growth?
My advice is to take ownership, seek learning opportunities, embrace challenges, and, most importantly, listen to others. Communication is key.
